When Lou Bono fired up the pits of his first restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida back in 1949, little did he know that his food would one day be celebrated as the quintessintial southern style barbecue establishment - Lou cooked his meats the traditional way, in specially designed pits over wood,and watched carefully by the Pit Boss.  Thanks to Lou's tireless efforts, Bono's became an immediate success.  Bono's restaurants are now located throughout Florida as well
as Georgia and Colorado.  Customers can order ahead, eat in or carry out.  Bono's catering staff will cater any manner of parties or get-togethers.

Stuart Bono's Bar-B-Q & Grill

Lou Bono opened the door of his first southern style Bar-B-Q restaurant in 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida. Lou’s recipes and methods of cooking were such a success that they spread rapidly throughout Florida and Georgia.

In 1993 John Stiburek opened a location in Stuart Florida and has been a success ever since. Stuart Bono’s offers a full barbeque menu as well as full service catering for any event from a black tie wedding to a good old fashioned pig roast. They offer the freshest ingredients along with a different soup, vegetable and special entrée every day. They are especially proud of their homemade desserts.
